Hi! Great to have you here!
I am Nadine and I will be thrilled to get to know you soon.
With the following lines and pictures I want to give you the opportunity to lens into my world a bit and get to know my background and attitude.
I am a cosmopolitan, LGBTQ-friendly, mum of three minus one children. A spiritual person but not religious. I am friend to all people with an open and friendly heart and as such I want to welcome you to my home country and to my home town, if Augsburg should become the city of your choice.
Embarking to this new experience living abroad you might be surfing on a wave of adventurous joy, full of positive energy and excitement. I would like to prevent you from hitting the riff and rather keep you on top of the wave surfing into the sunshine – forever or at least for the duration of your stay in Germany ;-).
I will open the door for you to go through with ease
Stay in positive energy and experience self-efficacy.
I help you to go beyond typical expat barriers
"I want my clients to lead a good life in Germany from the very beginning. Feeling carried and not left alone especially families with children."
Gain insight into the life experiences that currently form the cornerstone of my professional journey.
As an Au-pair host mum
As an Au-pair host mom for seven consecutive years and continuing today, I provide guidance to our Au-pairs, assisting them with everything from visa registration and medical appointments to cultural learning and navigating daily life challenges.
There is no better way to experience a countries culture and improve your language skills than being an Au-pair. Though you might be still hesitating to embark on this journey. Talking and addressing your concerns is the cure. Feel free to reach out to me.
The picture shows three of our Au-pairs during family Christmas experiences in Germany, 2023. We do a lot of talking 😉
As an expat in South Korea
In my earlier years, I lived as a working expatriate in South Korea, navigating life situations that required support. During that time, I not only sought assistance for myself but also served as a proactive cultural liaison between my solely Korean colleagues and worldwide foreign clients.
Bridging cultures is one of my core disciplines I would say. It is my heartfelt desire to make you feel comfortable within your new cultural environment as well as explaining arising situations of challenge.
As a mum in Taiwan
A six-week sojourn in Taiwan with my four-year-old son in 2023 provided firsthand experience of navigating daily life situations while raising a bilingual child.
I feel and understand well the needs and life requirements with children abroad. It is crucial to find ways to socially interact with locals for the children as well as for yourself as an adult.
As a guide in Japan
Serving as a travel guide for my father during his” lifetime dream journey” to Japan.
I assisted him, a non-English speaker, in overcoming language barriers and accomplishing tasks such as obtaining a desired haircut in Osaka.
See, this is the perfect example for a very practical support I would also be offering to you. Once we have practiced such real life situations you will feel comfortable and be at ease the next time by your own.
